It's good to talk
"It's good to talk" is the name of a bronze artwork unveiled at Badgemore Park, Henley, to mark Mental Health Awareness week in May 2019. It depicts three figures in conversation and highlights talking as the first step in seeking (or offering) help for depression. The sculpture was created by local artist Laura Jane Wylder and her husband Sebastian, and privately commissioned by Sir Mark and Lady Waller (Charlie Waller Memorial Trust) and the Connell family (Badgemore Park). Originally conceptualised 12 months ago, the piece was intended to mark Badgemore’s 20 year anniversary of supporting the Trust.
