Availability during lockdown

While we are all advised to remain at home as much as possible and interact with each other as little as possible, I have been offering all my existing clients the option of sessions by telephone or video link (zoom). This can work very well with people with whom there is already what we call a "therapeutic alliance". At the moment, I do not intend to take on any new clients in the usual way. However, I do not wish to discourage anyone who is suffering from distress directly related to the current circumstances. re: Coronavirus outbreak 2020 I am currently following the advice of the government, the NHS and BACP (my professional body). If you have a cough or high temperature or any flu like symptoms, or suspect that you have the virus or have travelled back from a high risk country or have been in contact with a person who has contracted the virus then please do not attend counselling in person, but let me know. Equally, if I have been in contact with a person who has contracted the virus, I shall self-isolate.
